Please join us as Frisco American Legion Post 178 celebrates its five-year anniversary, and veterans everywhere celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Legion! Post 178 is named for Frisco resident “Peter J. Courcy” who was KIA in Afghanistan in 2009. Today, the Frisco American Legion continues to serve our country by serving our community by providing veterans with education, employment, and emergency financial assistance.
We also teach patriotism in schools, sponsor Frisco students in the Boys State leadership program at the state capital in Austin, host an oratorical competition, fund scholarships, and support local Scout Troops. We are an all-volunteer organization, so 100% of your donation goes to work in Frisco, helping our citizens and our veterans!
